"Andrés Segovia" 2022: Benjamin Ojstersek plays Candombeando by
José Fernández Bardesio.
Every other year, the best young guitar players from all over the world present
their skills at the internationally renowned youth competition "Andrés Segovia".
Since 2016, the city has been organizing the competition in cooperation with the
European Guitar Teachers Association in Germany (EGTA-D). Due to the Corona
pandemic, the competition will once again take place online in 2022.
A total of 87 talents from 26 countries have made video recordings of their
programs, which they have practiced for months. They compete in three age
groups: under-14, 14 to 16 and 17 to 19. Benjamin Ojstersek is delighted to have
won fourth place in the 15 to 17 age group.
