A 2 days excursion at Thessaloniki...the beautiful city of Macedonia in Northern Hellas. The Rail copmlex of Thessaloniki is the oldest (complex) and most advanced in the country similar to other European stations. The Passenger station is at the end of the 8km long complex and it's called New R.R.Station - as there was another passenger station at the location of today's freight station - and it officially opened in 1962. The station has 8 tracks and 4 platforms from where trains to Athens, to Alexandroupolis, to Edessa and Florina and International trains depart and arrive. Here is the first part of the 45min video filmed at Thessaloniki which includes the morning train traffic of the station.
