Seascape Photography COMPOSITION | Tips & Techniques

Описание: Seascape Photography Composition isn’t easy. There are lots of challenges, and changing light makes it even harder. I used several techniques on this shoot at the coast to create photographs that would transport me back to this moment for years to come.

I’m at Mullion Harbour a remote fishing village in Cornwall, England. It’s the end of what has been a very wet and windy day. Giant seas are pounding the rocky coast. As the sun lowers passing through bands of changing clouds the lighting shifts with it, add the constant sea spray covering the lens and filters, lowering the contrast on the horizon - and I am in for a challenging shoot. It’s in these moments that produce the best photographs when you need to reach deep to capture the moment, to turn your artistic vision into a completed picture.

Careful composition, and playing with shutter speeds to match the motion of the sea to the mood of the photograph kept me busy. balancing strong foreground textures and shapes with the sea. Hope you enjoy the video and the photographs
