● Fishing Adventures: Withernsea Poo-Pipe🎣
● Fishing Date: 01 - 06 -2025🎣

We’re back at Withernsea on the beautiful Holderness Coast, chasing sharks well, smooth-hounds and dogfish mostly! My son was really excited to catch a shark on this trip, and we started off strong with a dogfish early on. It was a great moment that gave us hope for a busy session.

Unfortunately, after that first catch, the fish decided to go quiet. We battled through changing weather rain, sunshine, and even a stunning rainbow but the bites just didn’t come. We tried lots of different baits and rigs, but even the crabs stayed hidden.

The dreaded May Rot also rolled in, making fishing tough, so after a good few hours, we called it a day. Even though the fishing was slow, it was a fantastic morning spent outdoors, making memories and enjoying the family fishing experience.
