This change has created confusion among many people, especially those who were receiving payments for several years and suddenly discovered that their payments have stopped.

According to the updated policy, every beneficiary must complete a Dynamic Survey after every three years to confirm their eligibility. Another reason some people have been declared ineligible is related to their PMT (Poverty Means Test) score. If the score increases above the required threshold, it means the household is no longer considered eligible under the program’s poverty criteria. In such cases, the system automatically marks the beneficiary as ineligible and the payments stop.
The government has introduced these measures to ensure transparency and fairness, so that the financial assistance reaches those who truly need it. Because of this verification process, many families who were previously not receiving support have now been included in the program after completing their Dynamic Survey and verification.
In addition to the Rs. 14,500 installment, there is also good news for families with school-going children. The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif (children’s education stipends) are expected to be released soon after the verification of school attendance is completed. These stipends help parents support their children’s education while reducing the financial burden on low-income households.
Another important update discussed in this video is related to Ramadan relief assistance. The government has announced several relief initiatives to support families during the holy month of Ramadan. Some beneficiaries of BISP may also receive additional financial assistance through special relief packages introduced during Ramadan.
