Описание: The Clothesline Installation was started during January 2020 at the Enos Park Art Residency with the Springfield Art Association in Illinois. Susan Lenz stitched found fabric hand prints to dozens of old, neglected, vintage household linens. Her concept was to draw attention to the benefits of line drying, the need for household energy conservation, and the beauty of doing things BY HAND! Susan continued the project during the 2020 pandemic. Her hand prints became a visual reminder to "wash your hands". By 2021, Susan was ready to install the project outdoors. A two-week art residency at the Rensing Center just outside Pickens, SC provided the opportunity. This video shows The Clothesline in the green pasture. The installation survived rain and strong winds.
