While the design of the SKX013 is largely inspired by the SKX007, there are some small differences that are worth noting and which stretch past the case size and which are covered throughout this review.

03:35 Steel Case & Bezel Details
The stainless steel case of the SKX013 has an attractive dual finish. The top of the case is brushed or satin-finished while the case flanks are in high polish. The crown guards also have a polished finish.

03:43 Diver's Bezel
The Seiko SKX013 has a 120-click unidirectional steel bezel with a black diver's scale insert. The outside edge of the bezel is textured to provide a better grip when rotating it. The insert has full 60-minute calibrations.

04:05 SKX013 Black Dial
In its factory condition, the SKX013 has a flat black dial that is surrounded by a slanted minute track with white minute hashes. The dial also has large luminous hour indices (green LumiBrite) and polished center hands that are also filled with lume.

Other details n the dial include an orange "Diver's 200m" marquee, a Seiko logo at 12, and the day-date window at three o'clock.

The SKX013 is rated to 200m of depth and comes equipped with a scratch-resistant Seiko Hardlex crystal.

07:16 SKX013K2 Jubilee Bracelet
This SKX013 is presented on a stainless steel Seiko Jubilee-style bracelet. The bracelet is very comfortable and blends well with the case profile of the SKX013.

While the Jubilee bracelet is a bit "loose" this is normal for this bracelet and does not entail that the bracelet has been overworn. The clasp is a folding-style clasp.

Many of the links can be removed and the clasp also has numerous micro-adjustment settings.

The SKX013 is powered by a Seiko 7S26 movement which is the same movement used in the SKX. This movement has a 41-hour power reserve
