Shoto Todoroki, an absolute chad and one of the most loved characters in My Hero Academia. Shoto is very kind, cool, and reserved, thus a lot of people are huge fans of his. Shoto has had a very rough childhood, both parents are very distant and he hasn’t had the best connection with either of them.

Today we are going to talk about the connection between psychology and food. And how this relates to Todoroki.
Humans commonly symbolically interact through eating. For example, sitting at the head of the table symbolizes head of the house. Being selected to carve the Thanksgiving turkey is a symbol of honor. Likewise, holidays have traditional, symbolically associated, foods. So, during holidays and sit down dinners, we often symbolically eat or interact. We eat symbolically eat comfort foods for nostalgia because they have personal meaning. Sometimes comfort foods are comforting because of the neurochemical benefits of the carbohydrate or fat content.
The foods we eat say a lot about who we are as a person, where we grew up and how how we feel. Imagine if you were the exact same person, but grew up at the other side of the world, how different the social interactions surrounding food could be. And this is fine, food is an integral part of life and almost all of our social interactions have in some fashion to do with food and we live to eat, and eat to live.
Let’s talk about his diet!

Dinner:
LAFAYETTE'S ICED AMERICAN SHRIMP COCKTAIL
2 cups tomato juice
1/4 teaspoon celery salt, or to taste
teaspoon Tabasco sauce, or to taste
2 tablespoons prepared white horseradish
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 pounds jumbo shrimp (24 shrimp), peeled and deveined
2 medium-sized bunches arugula (5 ounces), cleaned, stems removed (to make 3 cups leaves).
1. Combine the tomato juice, celery salt, Tabasco sauce, horseradish and salt and pepper in a pitcher. Taste, overseasoning somewhat. Pour into a 9-inch square cake pan and freeze until solid, 1 hour or longer.
2. About 10 minutes before serving, remove the frozen cocktail sauce from the freezer. Place the shrimp in a single layer on the rack of a steamer over simmering water. Cover and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and let stand for 1 minute.
3. Meanwhile, remove the block of ice from the pan, applying a hot, wet shritowel if needed. Arrange the arugula on 6 plates. Set 4 shrimp on the leaves on each plate. Break the ice into 12 to 18 pieces. Divide among the plates and serve immediately.
Yield: Six servings.
As far as finger food goes, shrimp cocktail is nutritionally one of the healthier options out there. Consider: One large shrimp has just 7 calories and almost no fat yet packs more than a gram of protein. By comparison, one cocktail-sized pig in a blanket has 67 calories, 6 grams of fat, and 1.5 grams protein
