A rematch with Constitution Hill is next on the agenda for State Man after a supreme performance at the Dublin Racing Festival to win the Chanelle Pharma Irish Champion Hurdle.
He has been the dominant performer in the division in Ireland, winning nine of his 10 outings since falling on his first start for Willie Mullins at Leopardstown in 2021.
The only defeat in that run was against the powerful Constitution Hill in last season's Cheltenham Festival, beaten by Nicky Henderson's star turn by nine lengths back in March.
On State Man's chances of reversing those places, Willie Mullins said 'all we can do is hope' despite the impressive showing at the Leopardstown showpiece.
