"What does it mean to truly fly? This short film explores the exhilaration, fear, and freedom of being a pilot through the eyes of those who live it every day. From childhood memories of building an airplane in a living room to moments of pure calm broken by sudden engine trouble, it captures aviation as both escape and challenge. Beyond the technical skill, flying becomes a journey of friendship, self-discovery, and overcoming fear. Once you’ve seen the world from above, you’ll always keep looking up."
This is a short doc I made and is going to be showcased at the Cape Town Adventure Film Festival on the 24th and 28th of October at The Labia. We only had one day to film and a week to edit but think we ended up with something that is interesting and captures something of what flying is like. I will be posting the Full video here on Youtube after the second screening
