This retraction is concerning Irjāʾ that was previously found in the Shaykh's books, due to which the Shaykh was refuted by scholars like ʿAllāmah Fawzān and the Muftī of Saudi Arabia as having "Extreme Irjāʾ".
These claims are very old, and the retraction has occurred long since, and not much effort has been taken to circulate the latter on social media by the public, due to which people still share very old videos in the Shaykh's critique.
