From 1st July 1996, Robbie Vincent announces the end of 'Newstalk 1152' and the start of 'LBC 1152'. The changeover includes a montage of news events since 1973 as covered by LBC
In 1993 the original LBC Radio lost it's license and got into financial trouble. The winners of the licence took over the company and relaunched the stations as 'London News' and 'London Newstalk'
In 1996 after a change in shareholding in the company the MW station was relaunched again, this time as 'LBC 1152'
