In this video, I’ll show you how to replace the heating element in a washing machine.
For ten years, my Bosch Max 7 washing machine worked flawlessly. Regular descaling wasn’t a priority.
A while ago, the circuit breaker tripped during a wash cycle, and the machine shut down. After draining the water, I removed the top cover and inspected the inside. Everything looked brand new—no visible damage, leaks, or signs of electrical leakage.
The machine ran fine for another two days, but then the issue happened again—the circuit breaker tripped once more. That’s when I suspected the heating element.
Turns out, the breaker only tripped during wash cycles that required heating. Cold wash cycles worked perfectly fine.
