Visiting Most Beautiful Soviet Places in Moscow | Seven Sisters, Sovetsky Hotel & Soviet Cafes

Описание: The Soviet Union left a huge mark on the history of Russia. And today in the city there are still a lot of of places where the atmosphere of the Soviet past is still felt. In the new video I decided to show you the most interesting Soviet places in Moscow that you can find in the city today.

First of all, this is of course the world-famous Stalinist skyscrapers (or the 7 Sisters of Stalin). They were built from 1947 to 1953 in an combination of Russian Baroque and Gothic styles. At the time of construction, they were the tallest buildings in Europe.

Other interesting places where you can feel the atmosphere of the Soviet union are one of the oldest cinemas in Moscow - the Illusion, the Lenin Mausoleum and the Russian State Library.

Another unique place that I managed to visit is the Sovetsky Hotel and Yar restaurant. In the past, these were very popular places among the Aristacratic Soviet society. Its amazing atmosphere is still preserved there.

Also worth noting is the area of Ulitsa1905 Goda , where there is a monument to the famous revolution. Walking around this area you can also feel the atmosphere of the USSR.
