Dolphins Everywhere! Benagil Cave Boat Tour From Albufeira I Algarve's Stunning Coast 🐬

Описание: The Algarve delivered an unforgettable morning on the water.

At 9:30am we arrived by taxi at the colourful Albufeira Marina, just a short ride from the Old Town that cost only €6. After checking in and getting ready for departure, we boarded our sightseeing cruise at 10am, choosing the elevated centre seats for the best views along Portugal’s spectacular southern coastline.

After a quick safety briefing, our host told us we would first head out into the Atlantic to search for dolphins and it didn’t take long.

Within 25 minutes we spotted a mother and baby dolphin, and the crew immediately moved away to give them space. Not long after that, we encountered something incredible - multiple pods of dolphins, more than 20 in each group, swimming beside the boat and even gliding underneath us through the clear blue water. Watching wild dolphins move effortlessly through the Atlantic was one of the most memorable moments of our trip to Portugal.

After the dolphin encounters, the boat turned west along the famous Algarve coastline, known for its dramatic golden limestone cliffs, hidden beaches, and sea caves carved by millions of years of erosion.

Soon we reached the highlight of the journey, the spectacular Benagil Cave, one of the most famous sea caves in Europe. The boat slowly entered the cave where sunlight pours through the natural skylight above, illuminating the golden rock walls and the small beach inside.

Just days earlier we had looked down at this cave from the cliffs above. Seeing it from inside the cave itself was a completely different experience.

On the way back we explored several more caves and rock formations before returning to Albufeira Marina after about 2.5 hours at sea.
