On July 19th, 2018, I went out to catch 844 leading the CFD train down towards Denver, CO. Along with the consist was UP 1943, "Honoring US Forces".
Locations in order:
0:00 CR 72, Eaton, CO
1:03 39th st, Evans, CO
2:18 136th ave. Brighton, CO
A couple days later, on July 21, 844 departed Denver en route to Cheyenne, leaving at 6.30 AM, running over the Belt Line, and eventually on the Greeley Subdivision.

3:28 CR 36, Platteville, CO
4:17 Terry Ranch Rd, Cheyenne, WY
After a day of railfanning around Cheyenne, 844 left Cheyenne at 5:30 PM (Scheduled for 5 PM), and I head down to catch it on its way back south to Denver.

6:30 CR 88, Pierce, CO
7:48 CR 29, Gilcrest, CO
After the chase was over, only half an hour later would a pedestrian be struck by 844 at 124th, in Henderson, CO. It was very unfortunate to see, please, be safe around railroad tracks, and when railfanning.
