COVID-19 continues to have a significant impact on the global economy and flow of capital and people. The campaign of decoupling driven by geopolitics is reshaping our business world. Commercial law plays a critical role in responding to the unpredictable future.
Associate Professor Emma Armson was joined by Assistant Professor Trang (Mae) Nguyen of Temple University Beasley School of Law, Mr Param Pandya of the National University of Singapore, Ms Ge Zhang of the Washington University in St. Louis, and Dr Sophia Bai of UNSW Law & Justice to discuss topics including discussion on the need for an enforcement mechanism for directors' duties and stakeholders' interests, transnational suppliers in global value chains, a comparative study on personal information protection legislative reforms in China, and promoting a level playing field between Chinese state owned and other enterprises.
