See for yourself why Eilean Donan Castle is one of the most photographed in the world. This Scottish icon sits on its own little island, overlooking the Isle of Skye at the meeting point of three great sea lochs.
Today’s castle was reconstructed as a family home in the early 1900s and incorporates much of the ruins of the 1719 destruction. Wander around many of the internal rooms of the castle and see the period furniture, Jacobean artefacts, weapons and fine art.
