Note - A friend told me he thought Krenko only blocking with one creature is "buggy" behavior by the AI.

Even if that were true, and Krenko used all of his creatures to block, this strategy would still leave him on 0 health because of the Hydra gaining Trample at 10 counters. I believe the reason he only blocks with the dragon is that if he had lived, he would then have 5 unopposed 1/1's to finish you off next round.

Either that, or, he simply doesn't bother because they cant stop enough damage to save him anyway, and the dragon alone is does enough damage to kill the hydra, so there isn't any point in assigning additional blockers.
