I followed the pattern exactly, so I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong — until I learned one tiny trick that changed everything.
👉 Sew your lining with a slightly larger seam allowance than the exterior (about ⅛").
That small adjustment helps the lining “nest” perfectly inside the bag — no ripples, no sagging, just a smooth, polished finish.
Now every bag I sew looks clean, structured, and pulled together — all without changing the pattern or buying a fancy machine.
