I have wanted for some time now to do a version of this barely-known song -- or, rather, the song was part of a longer suite of music that was recorded by David Bowie and Brian Eno in Switzerland c. 1994, preceding the recording of the "1. Outside" album proper (which was released in September of 1995).
In the summer of 2024, I did a long suite of my own called "The Enemy Within," and I published it in two parts on my LP "Some Kind of Future 2.0," which itself was published just over one year ago, on January 11, 2025. Now, at last, I have done a "proper" cover/interpretation of the song itself, as well as a video to accompany it.
If you are looking for "Starman" or "Let's Dance," you'd best skip this. On the other hand, if you are a fan of Bowie's more experimental '90s work, or of my work in general, here is something "really fishy" for you (or, rather, something really experimental)...
