Alpamayo is a mountain in Peruvian Andes with elevation of 5947m. This almost perfect ice pyramid was several times declared the most beautiful mountain in the world. The mountain was named after the nearby village of Alpamayo (in Quechua Turbid water). First climbed in 1951by Belgian climber George Kogan.
