The Super Tool 300 is the Leatherman's step up from the Super Tool 200 and the original Super Tool. It's more affordable, and lighter weight than it's Heavy Duty brother - the Surge, but it's also slightly less equipped. However, the extra robust plier head featured on this tool - which includes replaceable 154CM wire cutters - adds a level of toughness and versatility that few of Leatherman's other tools can match. Almost every tool you want is found in this M.T., putting it just short of perfection in my book. If you're shopping for a large, affordable, heavy duty multi-tool that offers a decent balance between usability and portability, the ST 300 deserves a hard look.
