In this video, we show the complete step-by-step process of making Village Style Begun Bharta and Soft Paratha in a beautiful green field using traditional methods. 🌿🔥
Step 1: Fresh, large eggplants are collected and washed with clean water.
Step 2: The eggplants are lightly cut lengthwise without splitting them.
Step 3: Mustard oil is applied all over the eggplants for better roasting.
Step 4: A wood fire is lit in a clay stove, and an iron net is placed on top.
Step 5: The eggplants are arranged on the iron net and roasted until the skin turns brown and soft.
Step 6: The roasted eggplants are taken off and the skins are peeled carefully.
Step 7: The soft eggplants are mashed by hand in a large steel tray.
Step 8: Chopped garlic, green chilies, salt, and mustard oil are added.
Step 9: Everything is mixed well by hand to make spicy Begun Bharta.
Step 10: White flour dough is prepared and kneaded well.
Step 11: Small dough balls are rolled into flat parathas using a rolling pin.
Step 12: The parathas are roasted on the clay stove until soft and golden.
Step 13: The hot parathas are served with freshly made Begun Bharta.
Step 14: Everyone enjoys the food together in the green field.
