Inspired by and dedicated to the lovely alinok.tumblr.com :)

I really wanted to do a video inspired by larry's matching tattoos by having their inked versions coming to life along with everything they go through, kind of like a visual summary of what their story is. So, let me break it down if you would like a detailed summary of what I was trying to achieve with this video:

I Can't Change & " " : this is pretty self-explanatory. The open quotes completes the saying, and I personally feel like it's like the matching tattoo that will always be the most meaningful to the larry dynamic.

-birds & caged bird : another self-explanatory segment, I think, showcasing being trapped and knowing that somethings we can't control and that there are other things that instead control you.

-Things I can & Things I can't to Eagle & Bible : basically showing larry's (especially harry) struggle to freedom, and how metaphorically he covers up the Things I Can with the Eagle to show that all those relationships they dealt will soon be theirs, while Things I Can't to Bible shows that the restrictions (rules) the two have on each other will be replaced with faith and patience.
Then there is the transition segment from harry's freedom tattoos to louis' struggles as well, because this isn't only harry's fight, but also his, in which he expresses through song, example, Loved You First (caged bird sings ha get it)

-2 swallows: their meaning is usually everlasting love, and I did research on the birds and found that they mate for life so they essentially have soulmates (*cries*)
this is also where i change the focus onto louis.

-1 swallows: since swallows mate for life, even when separated (alone) they find their way back to each other. I was just showing here how even when the two are separated, louis always has love only to harry and how he's "always in his heart" :')

-heart & arrow : since i mentioned everlasting love with the swallows, of course the next pair of tattoos had to be these two. pretty simple explanation, when a arrow go through a heart (story of cupid) you fall deeply, deeply in love, which in the end is ever lasting, if that makes sense lol.

-compass & ship (my fave pairing yas bitch fuck it up) : the compass guiding the ship to where it needs to go, which most times is the direction of home, which is why i added in the quote of it leading you to where you desire most because harry is louis' home :) hah :) i love dying.

anchor & rope : following the nautical theme, these two generally represent support but since louis has the broken and looped ropes, I looked at it as one side being restricted and one being free (i feel like louis' ropes are like harry's things i can/things i can... because he essentially covered the open quotes as mentioned from the beginning... but it also comes full circle because harry covered his I can't change with the anchor... so essentially.. the open rope and anchor are the open quote and I can't change... i love dying. thanks larry)

-rose and dagger (another one of my faves yAS FUCK ME UP) : these two are like ying and yang when it comes to pairings. on one hand you have the beautiful side of love, but also the struggle side which louis and harry still have (for example, i showed the marriage and children aspect they both want but the whole issue with babygate getting in their way), ... i think you get that one hopefully.

-butterfly & it is what it is : now their meaning is different from what i showed here, but i wanted a transition from struggle of the dagger and rose to something more cheerful and uplifting, because with love, even when there is a hurdle, there is still the good moments you have with your loved one :)

-Oops & Hi : which lead us back to the start, coming to a close of the video and leaving a cliffhanger of what is to come as the interviewer mentions, "dreams and hope for the future"
