২০১৬ সালের সেপ্টেম্বর মাসে মুকুন্দগাঁতি গ্রামের মোহাম্মদ আলী সরকার বেলকুচি পৌরসভার দক্ষিণে ২.৫ বিঘা জমিতে তাঁর পুত্র আল-আমান এবং মা বাহেলা খাতুনের নামে "আল-আমান বাহেলা খাতুন জামে মসজিদ কমপ্লেক্স" এর ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন করেন। মসজিদটি তিনি নিজ খরচে নির্মাণ করেন। এই মসজিদটির ব্যয় ছিল ৩০ কোটিরও বেশি। মসজিদ নির্মাণে প্রায় চার বছর সময় লাগে। এর নির্মাণ কাজ শুরুর পর থেকে প্রতিদিন গড়ে ৪৫ জন শ্রমিক কাজ করেন।
