This is a beautiful flugelhorn that we just got in as a trade-in. It's in really excellent condition. A couple design features to note:
-The decorative bell bow garland, for a little extra support on the back bell bow.
-This horn has a fairly tight, compact wrap.
-The bore in .406", which is a little bit smaller than a typical flugel, definitely a french style bore if you're looking for that sound and feel.
-Of course the great craftsmanship you expect from Schilke.
-Comes with two leadpipes, for large and small taper mouthpieces, so you can dial in the sound and feel or just use whichever mouthpiece style you currently have (French taper leadpipes can be ordered).
-One-piece, hand-hammered copper bell.
A beautiful hard shell case is included.
