In this video we go over the results of the two tests I performed to try and gauge the default, of defaults, range on the LILYGO T-Echo with the Meshtastic firmware.
I forgot to mention that both Antennas were fixed to poles around the six-foot mark.
NOTE - I found out after buying different devices that my T-Echos most likely arrived faulty. Because my Heltec V3 devices went significantly farther.
We used the most up to date Meshtastic firmware, the default setting being "Long-Fast", the out of the box antenna (approx. 2 inches) and two LILYGO T-Echo devices setup to range test every twenty seconds.
