Loved this little roadside stop sign in the actual town of North Pole, Alaska!
It’s located off Richardson Highway 14 miles south of Fairbanks.
I discovered this sign on a whim through Google when I was actually searching for a Welcome to Alaska sign to take a picture with…but this was certainly good enough!
Yes just plug this Welcome to North Pole sign into Google Maps and you’ll simply be lead right here! There was plenty of space along the shoulder to park and I felt far enough away from the highway not to feel bombarded by passing cars.
Plus…this day I visited back over the summertime the weather was perfect without any wind. And best of all during the morning I was here…the sun was at my back which made for ideal photo opportunities!
I was truly grateful to be here in the North Pole taking this video! I highly recommend to any tourists out there flying into Fairbanks to make a stop at this wonderful looking sign and make it official that you made it to the North Pole!!!
