India is planning a major offshore international airport near Kore in Palghar district, Maharashtra, in the Vadhavan Port region. The proposed airport is envisioned as a major aviation project on reclaimed land offshore from the Palghar coast, with two parallel runways and dedicated passenger and cargo infrastructure.
