Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm, lightning and squally winds are very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura today which is likely to increase to fairly widespread to widespread rainfall in the coming days.

In a relief from the sweltering heat, thunderstorm and lightning with gusty winds at a speed of 30-40 kmph is also very likely to occur in the Northeast.
