Why CtCT? Well, the Crystal Tower is a long dungeon near the end of Final Fantasy III, and has some amazing music. Plus, there's no telling what we'll encounter on each floor!

Alright, let's get into the extension, and the ground floor of the Tower! Composed by Tsuyoshi Sekito, Final Fantasy Explorers is Square Enix's foray into the Monster Hunter-genre. Developed by Racjin for the 3DS in December 14 for Japan and January for Europe and North America, Final Fantasy Explorers is a mostly multiplayer co-op game, focused on exploring the vast land from their hub-town, Libertas. Now, the game itself is fairly story-based, so I won't spoil too much, but it does involve the famous Job system, as well as summons and popular weapons and costumes.

This track, titled Magical Beast of the Wind, is the theme of the Eidolon Fenrir, specifically when you fight it. The long, flowing bow strokes at the beginning, combined with the flute that comes in later, start the tense mood that you're fighting a monster of legend. Then it goes into a chanting, trance-esque feel, and then "calms down" into what seems to be both chimes and strings, which completes the godlike feel of the Wolf in question.
