Catching Fluke and Porgies in the Sound then mugged by a party boat in the fog

Описание: Late May means it's time to start transitioning from fishing the Northshore bays to fishing the Long Island Sound (Western region). Very foggy conditions contributed to a less than ideal encounter with the Super Current party boat out of Island City, NY. This is the second time a party boat has anchored on top of me but this time it just felt way more brazen. Oh well, not much I could do, just thankful I didn't get hit, and I tried not to let it ruin a somewhat productive spring morning of fishing for fluke (summer flounder) and porgies.
