Why now? The Center for Reproductive Rights is heading to the U.S. Supreme Court for the most important reproductive rights case in almost 25 years. The case, Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt, will determine whether Texas can shut down nearly all abortion care providers in the state, placing countless women at risk of serious harm.

For more than 40 years, the Supreme Court has said the Constitution protects a woman’s right to make her own decisions about her health and family, including abortion.

Now the Court must reject political schemes to prevent women from acting on these personal decisions. The health of millions of women in Texas—and across the country—is at stake.

The majority of Americans support the constitutional right to safe and legal abortion. Now’s the time to show that you’re one of them!
