I went out on a walk to Fred Meyer to use up some coupons and enjoy the morning air. I saw a few birds here and there and it was very peaceful around the neighborhood. The magpies were chatting and the scrub jays were being loud in the funny way they do.
I'm very well stocked for food now. We usually get a lot of snow in Jan and Feb, so I'm just getting prepared. The only things I'll still need to get are fresh apples and bagels.
