بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم
Al Fatihah means containing praise and prayer to Allah. In Al Fatihah it means, there is praise for Allah. Al Fatihah means also has the meaning of a request or prayer from humans.
Named Ath Thoor which means Hill is taken from the word Ath Thoor which is found in the first verse of this surah. What is meant by the hill here is Mount Sinai which is located on the Sinai peninsula, where the Prophet Moses received the Torah from Allah. This Surah tells that the unjust people will surely get tormented in this world and the hereafter; Explaining that Allah will always protect and protect the Prophet Muhammad.
