Some behind-the-scenes snippets of my cold process soap making using the heat transfer method. Since this method relies on the heat from the lye water to melt the oils, it can sometimes be a little unpredictable. It hasn’t always been perfect — I’ve had to experiment and redo batches to get it just right. So far, this batch is looking pretty good… fingers crossed!
