Ladu Baba Temple is situated approximately 13 km distance from Nayagarh, near Sarankul, and 70 km from Khordha. This place is renowned for the Baba Ladukeswar temple. The Siva Linga of Ladukeswar is popularly known as Ladu Baba. The temple’s construction spans more than 1,000 years. Besides the temple, there are Durga Mandir, Angad Murthy, Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Mata Sita, Bada Thakur, Lakshmi Mandir, Dasa Mahavidya Navagraha, and Suryamandir, which are also worshipped in the Ladukeswar Temple. The temple was built by Jagdev Ranendra in the 1942 century in the style of the Rekha temple. Sarankul Ladu Baba Mandir is a famous temple in Nayagarh District.

The festivals and rituals of Sri Ladukeswar are also similar to those of the Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar. The temple is mixed with Vaishnava, Shiva, and Sadhu religions, so devotees from across the state and beyond come here. Jhulan Yatra, Shitalashti, Chabish Ekadashi, Pana Sankranti, Dolayatra, Shivaratri, Durgapuja & Kalipuja are the famous festivals of this temple. The main festival of this place is Maha Siva Ratri in the month of Magha, and a large number of devotees gather here to observe the function. Sharanakula Baba Ladukeswar Temple is one of the most popular tourist places in Nayagarh, Odisha.
