A Month in Paradise: Living in an Old Italian Monastery!

Описание: We are in Italy! In this video, we take you on a tour of the outside of our new home for the next month: an 11th Century Monastery built upon Roman ruins. It is a beautiful place that has been renovated into a private home. We had so much fun discovering everything in the light of day. We explored the gardens, around the big shop next to the house, some ruins that look like horse stables, and even found a secret garden nestled in the woods. We hiked along an old road to capture beautiful views of the monastery and even a castle off in the distance beyond. It was so much fun to discover the paradise we are living in for this next month. We can't wait to discover so much around us.

That evening, we headed to Gubbio, a nearby city, to have dinner and go shopping. Sam found the best pizza place for us called Pizzeria Il Tempio that had 4.9 star ratings. The pizza came out fast and was delicious. The perfect Italian meal for our first dinner in Italy.

Afterwards, we headed to the grocery store to buy some food. It was fun to experience our first Italian grocery store. Benny captured all of the many different types of pasta so well. He made us laugh. On our way to the grocery store, we were amazed to see a walled city along the hill. We learned it was the city of Gubbio. It looked so cool with the old gray and tan stones and looked like we stepped back thousands of years ago to the medieval time or even before then. We can't wait to go and discover it together.
