This film presents some Soundies -- 1940s music videos (sometimes intended to be played in a special video jukebox that used 16mm film). The first film (main titles missing) is "Count Me In" performed by Claude Thornhill & His Orchestra with the singing duet Martha Wayne & Buddy Stewart. This short was directed by Arthur Dreifuss. Claude Thornhill is seen at the (1:00) mark. Next, Herbie Kay and his Orchestra are shown in the Mincoco Productions release of "Willie, Willie, Will Ya?" featuring Ellen Connor (2:40). At (5:21) Cab Calloway performs "Virginia, Georgia and Caroline" from 1942. This is also a Minoco release. At (7:55) the Charioteers perform "The Darktown Strutters' Ball", a jazz standard. This film dates to 1941 and was also a Minoco release. The Charioteers were an American gospel and pop vocal group from 1930 to 1957. The film comes to a conclusion with "Shine" (1942) performed by Louis Armstrong and his orchestra (9:52). This film was released by R.C.M. Productions and is notable for its ridiculous set with a huge shoe getting a shine on center stage behind Armstrong.

one "Linda Brown" features the African American band The Musical Madcaps and was produced and directed by William Forest Crouch. It dates to 1943 and one reviewer called it a "hot number" and noted true to form that the MadCaps practically "tear apart the scenery before the number is finished."
