Welcome to the third installment of 108CAM's CDS Adventures!
For those who like videos of Reverse Vending Machines, this is a cool one since the internal lights were left on, allowing my camera to capture the sorting paddles in action.
This video is one of the first on YouTube that shows an RVM Systems "Cosmos" machine and it's rotating paddle sorters in action.
The RVM Systems Cosmos is similar to a large format Tomra T9 but has many design differences, the most obvious being the way containers are pushed off the belt and into the bins.
I quite like the Cosmos since it has many features which the Tomra T9's either don't have or use a better design in the Cosmos, my favourite being how the Cosmos scans barcodes. This allows for any eligible container with a readable barcode to be accepted, even when they're broken or crushed.
My tripod also makes its debut at the RVM, replacing the old selfie stick setup that only lasted one video.
