This online event presented an opportunity to hear from one of the artists from Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2022, Theresa Weber, followed by a Q&A.
Weber introduced listeners to the concepts of several of her bigger works, which dealt with mythologies in connection to social issues, and post-colonial research topics in relation to her materiality.
New Contemporaries annual exhibition of emerging and early career artists has launched in Hull at Humber Street Gallery and Ferens Art Gallery. The hotly anticipated 2022 exhibition includes artists selected through an open submission by internationally renowned artists James Richards, Veronica Ryan and Zadie Xa.
