I'm in Week 43 of this ongoing series of Stitches, Styles and Techniques of Embroidery. The elegant Detached Picot and the intricate Ribbed Spiderweb Stitch are new stitches to the Journal and look lovely on top of the Slow Stitched collaged blue fabric.
The experiment of combining some traditional embroidery with the slow stitching style is working beautifully and seems to be making a successful page for the Stitch Journal.
