This video takes you inside the harsh lives of brickmakers in Madagascar's polluted capital city of Antananarivo.

Over the last 3 days, I've seen several thousand people on street corners and in brickfields working their a**es off making bricks. The entire production cycle -- from digging deep in the soil to formulating the bricks, laying them out to dry, tossing them onto trucks and burning them in brick ovens.

What I was seeing was so massive and intense that I decided to make a video about it on the spot. I went into the brick fields to interview several brickmakers in Madagascar to learn more about their strenuous lives. Special thanks to my new friends Ali, Dave, Nancy and Antonio for helping me translate -- this video (and all my others) would not have been possible without your help.

I want to get your opinion on something -- the most frustrating thing I saw today was really young kids (5-8 years old) tossing bricks for 10+ hours a day in the hot sun. Do you think it's morally right to force them to work labor-intensive jobs at such a young age? I don't.
