Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Max Air mini deluxe trailer roof fin with the 12-volt fan. The Max Air mini roof fin is designed for power bathroom and galley vents. It protects against rain, bugs, and debris whether the vent is open or closed. It does feature a 12-volt DC power exhaust fan with one speed option that's quiet and energy efficient. Does a great job at getting odors and stale air out or getting those to escape. The unit features the integrated rain shield.

Prevents rainwater from entering your RV or trailer and eliminates the need to install a separate vent cover. Now one of my favorite features about the unit is that it features cool white LED lighting. So you'll notice right here around the fan we have the LED light strip. This is awesome for nighttime or accent lighting. Also it features the manually controlled air baffle, so you have the lever right there so you can open and close that quickly and easily.

We have the bug screen that keeps insects out. It's easy to remove for cleaning or maintenance. The diameter right here of the fan is about six inches, and then you have your control knob right here. Multiple positions, and it only has one speed, but you have fan only, LED light only, and then you have the off position, and then you have combination of LED lighting and the fan being on.So here in a moment I'll actually hook it up to power and show you exactly how the unit operates. Once installed, though, it provides a seamless low-profile appearance.

The top of the unit is black in color, and this is designed to install into any 14-inch by 14-inch opening. It comes with your top, middle, or sleeve, and then your lower section. So it's a really nice design, comes with your installation hardware. Comes with installation instructions. The only thing that you need that really isn't included is some type of sealant to go under the mounting area here.

Now we do offer some silicone sealant. That can be used at each mount hole extension as well as the exterior perimeter of the unit. It's sold separately and available at etrailer.com if you need to pick something up.Now this is designed to fit a roof thickness of one inch and 4 1/2 inches thick. The overall measurements, it's a square design, so it measures about 16 1/2 inches by 16 1/2 inches. Now once installed, it sits about four to 4 1/8 inches above the roof. Now it is a multi-piece design, so I do wanna go ahead and take it apart and I just wanna show you the different components. So you have your top portion, then you have your middle sleeve, and then you have your lower section, which, on the bottom side, this is the portion that's visible from inside your RV or trailer. But I just wanna show you that each LED is completely sealed. It's a really nice design when it comes to the wiring and how everything's assembled. We have a two-wire design. Your black wire is your power wire and your white wire is your ground wire. It had the indentions here so you can feed out your wiring without pinching anything, so that's a nice design of the unit.So what we'll do is we'll go ahead and put it back together, and then I'm gonna hook it up to power and let you hear how loud the fan is. It's actually very, very quiet, and then we'll turn off our overhead lights and I can show you the LED lighting. Okay, so we've got power hooked up. So what I'll do here is I'll turn it to the fan only position. Make sure the air baffle is open. So that's as loud as it gets. It's a nice quiet design. And then if you do one more turn it's the LED lighting only, and then you have LED lighting and fan on. So I'll go ahead and turn off the lights so you can see the LEDs a little bit better. So we got multiple LEDs there. Sends out a really nice, consistent signal. Again, that's just a really cool feature to have. It's awesome for nighttime lighting, for accent lighting, just a really neat feature to have built in.That's gonna do it for today's look at the Max Air mini deluxe trailer roof fin with the 12-volt fan and LED lighting.
