Ladwig's HORNS & BEAT widmen dieses Programm Nat und seinem großen Bruder Julian „Cannonball“ Adderley. Cannonball (1928-1975) kam aus Florida und war als Mensch eine Urgewalt mit Charisma und Humor. Als Saxofonist begeisterte er sein Publikum mit seiner melodisch wie rhythmisch perfekten Spielweise, einem vollen Ton und einer Mischung aus Souljazz, Hardbop, Gospel und Blues. Ladwig's Sextett hat herausragende Kompositionen aus seinem Programm ausgesucht und sie für dieses einmalige Bläserensemble mit Tubax (Kontrabass-Saxofon) und Schlagzeug arrangiert.

Ladwig's HORNS & BEAT has dedicated this program to Nat and his "big" brother Julian "Cannonball" Adderley. Cannonball (1928-1975) who originated from Florida, was a larger than life character, bursting with charisma and humor. As a saxophonist, he delighted his audiences with his melodic and rhythmic style of playing using full tones, and combining soul jazz, hardbop, gospel and blues. Ladwig's sextet has selected some of the most outstanding compositions from his program and arranged them for this unique wind ensemble with tubax (contrabass-saxophone) and drums.
