A convoy of activists from Tunisia, Algeria and Libya want to send a clear message to Israel to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.
About 1000 Tunisians and other nationals started the land trip from Tunis on Monday.
They have been joined by Libyan participants.
Some South Africans are also taking part in the what has been dubbed as the convoy of steadfastness to break the siege impose on the people in Gaza.
