I wonder if Barbara Anderson was asking herself if her family was going to get anything special for her from either of these locations for Mother’s day. It really would have been up to her husband. Her oldest child was only 5. Would her husband get her a gift, or a gift certificate and just let her pick out what SHE wanted? Or would he even go above and beyond and enter her in the Northridge Best Mom Contest so that she could win $500? Nah, he wouldn’t do that. Biggest reason probably being that she was too fat. You see, her husband, Jesse Anderson, wanted for his family to portray the PERFECT image. And clearly nowhere in his mind did an overweight wife fit into that picture. So, no. She wouldn’t have a chance to win $500. As a matter of fact, he was looking to cash out on $250,000…that came from her life insurance policy. And he couldn’t do that if she was alive. She would be dead 18 days before Mother’s Day 1992. And it REALLY seems like the only reason was because she was too plump for her childish, selfish, and manipulative husband.
