What do I do when I'm not attending cons or events? I ugh host them!
Miku Matsuri was a for fans by fans created event, Hatsune Miku is the property of Crypton Future Media and this was a glorified cosplay gathering. No money was charged for the fan concert or to attend the event. Everything was funded out of pocket via the council or a sponsor. Our city originally had a mask mandate that was later lifted AFTER the event was underway leading to us being unable to completely enforce the mask policy due to being an outdoor event. We did however highly encourage everyone to be masked regardless of vaccination.
Not feeling too ready to go back to conventions just yet, but I await the day I can and feel safe enough in doing so.
