Birthday Bourbon is a limited-edition, vintage-dated whiskey from the Old Forester distillery in Kentucky. It's released annually on September 2nd to commemorate the birthday of the distillery's founder, George Garvin Brown. The first release was in 2002, to celebrate Brown's 156th birthday.
The 2023 release is a 12-year-old bourbon with rich caramelized and oaky characteristics. It has an MSRP

Stagg Jr. is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. It was first released in August 2013 by Buffalo Trace.
The distillery released approximately two batches of Stagg Jr. every year. Each batch was blended from bourbons that were roughly 8 or 9 years old and released at a high unique barrel proof.
Stagg Jr. was discontinued in late 2022. It was widely regarded as one of the finest (and now rarest) barrel-proof bourbons.
Stagg Jr. was uncut (no water added) and unfiltered like its bourbon "father" George T. Stagg. Each batch varied in both proof and age, but the bourbon was around 8-9 years old with proofs ranging in the 130+ area.
